Despite a closed campus, more than 100 cadets are being recognized for their academic and military leadership and excellence during the academic year.

The Palmetto Medal Award, one of the highest awards presented by The Citadel, would normally be presented during the 2020 Corps Day Weekend.

The Citadel announces the 61 rising-senior cadets who are now officially members of the Class of 2021 Summerall Guards, an elite military drill troupes.

Despite the interruptions to campus life, The Citadel is carrying on its traditions and making the next group of cadets who will lead the Corps.

There will be one for those wanting to pursue graduate degrees online or on campus, and one for those wanting to transfer from other programs to the online or evening undergraduate programs
