It’s the second year in a row a Citadel cadet has achieved a top 10 ranking on the prestigious list prepared annually by the U.S. Army Cadet Command.

There is a growing demand for pilots who fly both military aircraft and commercial aircraft, and after four dormant decades, The Citadel has revived its Flying Club to train pilots to meet this need.

The four cadets funded the mission trip themselves through their personal savings, their families and friends, and with assistance from The Krause Center for Leadership and Ethics at The Citadel.

For the second consecutive year a Citadel cadet is among America’s top ten Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) cadets.

The Citadel Healthcare Study Abroad Program was recognized as a program of merit and was named a “Program of Distinction” by the Association of American Medical Colleges.

The Citadel offers the only evening program for nursing in the area, and it offers every nursing course every semester.

Citadel Cadets studying abroad in Cyprus, Greece are engrossed in learning about the Cypriot culture that surrounds them.

When almost 800,000 middle school students around the nation open the November issue of Junior Scholastic magazine, they’ll be learning about global issues, science and history. They’ll also be learning about the first woman to lead the South Carolina Corps of Cadets.
