More than 30 Citadel cadets used this time to give back to local children in need, and the Salvation Army is still accepting donations through Dec. 18.

The final round of the Baker Business Bowl VI will be on April 16. The final five teams made it through the elevator pitch presentations in early December.

Fifty cadets are spending hours practicing getting ready to perform in the Christmas Candlelight Service, an iconic part of the Lowcountry’s holiday season.

After their service, most of these veterans continue to give back in different ways, even though they are not in active duty.

In just a few months, The Citadel Pipe Band will be performing in front of a national audience at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland.

After four 90-minute rounds, The Citadel’s Ethics Bowl team finished in 4th place, earning a spot at the national competition early next year.

She’s a two-time Army Ranger Challenge competitor, she’s on track to become an officer in the U.S. Army after graduating, and she was also Miss Charleston.

The Citadel Regimental Band and Pipes will represent the United States next year as the country’s designated military band at the at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland.

The Citadel is taking action to bring awareness to the issue of veteran suicide.

A group of 20 randomly selected Citadel students on track for an Army commission were taken as part of a group to measure the success of the training program.
