The Women in Defense Palmetto Chapter is pleased to announce Cadets Lillian Layden and Catherine Guenther as the awardees of its 2020 STEM Scholarship.

In celebration of Women’s History Month 2020, the college would like to introduce you to a few of our many outstanding women.

Cadet Julianna DeSalle is an Electrical Engineering major from Navarre, Florida.

Bolden will rise to the position of Regimental Public Affairs Officer for the 2020-21 academic year.

Cadet Hannah Jalbert attends The Citadel as an Army scholarship student. She is majoring in Intelligence and Security Studies

Laden is a contract cadet with the U.S. Air Force ROTC and is working on a double major: Cyber Security and German.

Lt. Sarah Zorn, the first woman to serve as regimental commander at The Citadel, spoke to cadets and shared some inspirational moments from her past..

For the first time in the Citadel’s 176-year history, the formerly all-male military college in South Carolina will graduate a female regimental commander.
