Sunday, August 16 marked one of the last major milestones in The Citadel’s Operation Fall Return 2020, when most of the cadets returned to campus.

The Citadel Class of 2024, 696 cadet recruits strong, stood in formation on Summerall Field, taking the Cadet Oath at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020.

The full Class of 2024 reported to campus throughout Saturday, August 8, joining the more than 600 cadets who were already on campus.

A select number of cadets and students worked virtually throughout the summer as paid researchers in their areas of interest, guided by expert professors.

Classrooms at The Citadel are now equipped with new technology called Swivl that helps brings the in-class experience to virtual learning via Zoom.
