Join Citadel civil engineering cadets (and a Class of 2017 newly commissioned Naval officer) as they tour the Argentine Naval Academy’s tall ship.

The South Carolina Corps of Cadets commencement ceremony celebrated 551 graduating members of the Class of 2017 on Saturday, May 6, 2017.

Cadet Kevin MacDonald of Hilton Head, South Carolina, is this year’s recipient of the John O. Willson Ring. 

Two South Carolina natives are the first and second honor graduates of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets Class of 2017.

At the Awards Convocation on May 4, more than 50 awards were presented to cadets in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.

Over 60 cadets and students had the privilege of meeting their alumni family members on stage to receive their diplomas at commencement on Saturday.

The Citadel’s South Carolina Corps of Cadets received degrees on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in McAlister Field House.

The 2016-17 Who’s Who list includes nearly 100 cadets and students from The Citadel who demonstrated academic and military excellence this year.

The Class of 2017 includes more than 100 cadets who are now America’s newest military officers serving in every branch of service.

The total number of 2017 graduates from The Citadel South Carolina Corps of Cadets and The Citadel Graduate College is 953.
