At her Title I school, Lauren Roche makes a positive impact every day by doing what she loves. When Roche noticed her English language learners needed an advocate, she enrolled in The Citadel Graduate College’s literacy education program.

The Citadel volleyball team won the military school’s first Southern Conference championship in a women’s team sport on Nov. 21.
