The Oath Ceremony for The Citadel Class of 2023 will be live streamed on the college’s Facebook page and on YouTube beginning at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19. The class will stand on Summerall Field and take an oath pledging to abide by the college’s core values of honor, duty and respect as future members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets.

As the academic year begins, The Citadel is welcoming new faculty to its ranks and celebrating the promotions of current faculty members, with a new provost in the lead.

Both Col. Robert E. Lyon, Jr, Class of 1971, and Col. F. G. “Greg” Delleney, Jr., Class of 1974, officially join the Board of Visitors.

The agreements cover six southern states, and make a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree available to a wider spectrum of students.

The Citadel Foundation has received a 2019 Educational Fundraising Award in overall performance from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
