The Citadel’s Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business has partnered with Knack, a leading peer tutoring platform.

The Citadel’s Zucker Family School of Education will launch a new Center of Literacy Excellence focused on supportive measures for ensuring all children receive high quality literacy instruction.

Emily Hickey is an Intelligence and Security Studies major with a minor in Criminal Justice from Melrose, Massachusetts. After graduation, she expects to accept a commission into the Navy.

Thanks to a generous gift through The Citadel Foundation, the college will soon be improving and enhancing its offerings through the School of Engineering.

Zachary Sowards is a Mechanical Engineering major from Summerville, South Carolina. He is Lima Company’s commander.

Colton Horvath is from Clemmons, North Carolina, and chose to pursue a Biology degree at The Citadel. Upon graduation, he expects to accept a commission into the Air Force.

Willam Varn is Tango Company commander from Pawleys Island, South Carolina. He is a Mechanical Engineering major that is pursuing his PE licensing. Varn is a member of the 2024 Junior Sword Arch, 2024 Summerall Guard and a recipient of Gold Stars, Dean’s list and has been awarded President’s List. 

Cadet Gianna Rabassi is an Intelligence and Security Studies major with a minor in Business from Jacksonville, North Carolina. She serves as Papa Company commander and expects to accept an Air Force commission in May 2024.

The Citadel has just snipped the ceremonial blue ribbon to open the new Capers Hall, which houses the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The previous building of the same name was demolished in 2021 to make way for the new one, which was designed by the architectural firm Woolpert.
