The Citadel has one of the most engaged alumni populations of any college in America. On July 6, Gen. Walters led a town hall specifically for alumni.

The CARES Act grants were awarded to Citadel cadets and students based on guidelines from the U.S. Department of Education.

“We are shifting our schedule by one week in order to offer our entire semester of classes on campus while still ending classes before Thanksgiving.”

Amanda Workman, who has no connection to The Citadel, proceeded to make 200 “ear savers,” plastic extenders for face masks, for the college.
