The full Class of 2024 reported to campus throughout Saturday, August 8, joining the more than 600 cadets who were already on campus.

The Citadel will update the number of cases daily, every Monday – Friday, on the COVID-19 Case Tracker located at the top of the special COVID-19 webpage.

Faculty and an alumnus from The Citadel School of Engineering are the proud recipients of awards from the 2020 American Society of Civil Engineers.

The newest faculty member is Larry Valero, Ph.D., who is now head of the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies.

The Citadel administration has laid out the COVID-19 testing requirements and return protocols, ahead of in-person instruction resuming on August 19.

The Baker School of Business is one of the 22 institutions to have extended its accreditation in business through the AACSB.

“We are shifting our schedule by one week in order to offer our entire semester of classes on campus while still ending classes before Thanksgiving.”

About 700 young men and women are preparing for success before entering The Citadel as cadet recruits, who will comprise the Class of 2024.

All efforts are focused on setting conditions for cadets and students to return to an adapted face-to-face instruction and training model.

The Citadel’s nursing program is being recognized for its excellence by being invited to join the premier nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau.
