Citadel cadets in the 2nd and 3rd Battalions returned to campus to clean their rooms inside the Law and Padgett-Thomas Barracks.

Not long before the pandemic became a daily actuality, four seniors majoring in mechanical engineering enjoyed an experience they won’t likely forget.

The Citadel has its Army cadets take the oath of office together, going one-by-one to state their name, then repeating the rest of the oath in unison.

This commencement is the first of its kind in the history of our college. The Citadel is tremendously proud of your your accomplishments, and we want to help you celebrate

We will conduct virtual commencement exercises 9 May 2020. The Corps of Cadets commencement will start at 1 p.m. EST, with CGC commencement at 3 p.m. EST.

The South Carolina Corps of Cadets Class of 2020 commencement will take place at 9 a.m., Saturday May 9, at McAlister Field House. About 500 cadet graduates and veteran day students will be addressed by this year’s commencement speaker, Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, Jr., USMC (Ret.).

Meet three graduates from the Class of 2019 who will use what they learned in the Baker School of Business to get ahead in their professions.

These students were among the approximately 400 graduate and evening undergraduate students who accepted diplomas during the 2019 commencement ceremony.

These cadets were amoung the 500 graduates of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets who particiated in the commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 4.
