The Citadel is remembering one of its longest-living alumni, a member of the Class of 1938, who dedicated his life to his family and country.

February’s final parade featured the presentation of two distinguished awards, meant to recognize two cadets’ service to the Corps, The Citadel and more.

It’s been 50 years since Charles Foster made history as the first African American graduate of The Citadel, and his legacy is continues to show.
