Top ROTC cadets at The Citadel for 2022-23 were recognized at an awards ceremony on Thursday, April 6.

Incoming ROTC cadets may be offered two supplemental scholarships — The Citadel Service to Country Tuition Scholarship 2027 as well as the National Service Room Scholarship.

More than 60 cadets at The Citadel now know which branch of the Army they will join after graduation as they approach the halfway point of their senior year.

“The Citadel packs a powerful punch.” Many ROTC graduates enter the Army, Air Force, Space Force, Navy and Marine Corps every year.

Nearly 125 awards were presented when the recipients were honored as a group on Thursday, April 7 in McAlister Field House.

After years of ROTC training at The Citadel, some cadets are getting ready to achieve their lifelong dreams and enter the military as aviators

“I spent a lot of time at sea. I spent 26 of my 32 plus years in submarines,” Machowski said.

Nearing the mid-point of their senior year, more than 70 cadets at The Citadel now know what branch of the Army they will enter after graduation.
