Zac Painter will enter The Citadel honors program in prestigious company when the Blacksburg High graduate heads to the military college.

“I really found a love to be in the Air Force,” she said. “I kind of wanted to branch out; I wanted to do something different.”

Thirteen graduate students at The Citadel, who are current and future leaders in education, join Kappa Delta Pi honor society.

“We are really excited about getting all of Bulldog Nation back inside Johnson Hagood Stadium in the fall.”

“I’m going to do what I have to do to play, to get on the field. And in the classroom, I’ll do what I have to do to get a degree.”

More than 230 undergraduate transfer and graduate students participated in the spring commencement events.
