Saturday, August 12, was Matriculation Day for the Class of 2027, when more than 750 freshman cadet recruits moved into their barracks.

Members of The Citadel Class of 2027 will arrive on campus Saturday, August 12.

Since 2012, the Summer SUCCEED program at The Citadel has selected cadets, veteran students and graduate students who want to devote their summer to full-time service.

The Citadel is expanding and improving its campus safety notification system — Bulldog Alert — that is used to communicate important information to The Citadel Community in times of emergency.

As of July 1, 2023, services offered by The Citadel’s Mary Bennett Murray Infirmary have been expanded to include counseling, additional sports medicine offerings and on-site physical therapy.

During a meeting in June, The Citadel Board of Visitors unanimously voted to not raise in-state cadet tuition for the 2023-24 academic year.
