The South Carolina Corps of Cadets Class of 2020 commencement will take place at 9 a.m., Saturday May 9, at McAlister Field House. About 500 cadet graduates and veteran day students will be addressed by this year’s commencement speaker, Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, Jr., USMC (Ret.).

The Vice President will travel to Charleston, South Carolina. There, he will deliver remarks to the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and participate in a Citadel Republican Society Patriot Dinner.

Meteorologists from the Charleston-area news stations built and competed with their handmade trebuchets ahead of the 10th Storm The Citadel competition.

The Tommy Baker Veterans Fellowship recipients include eight veteran students in The Citadel Graduate College, studying a variety of undergraduate programs.
