Relatives and friends of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets will be welcomed to campus during The Citadel’s annual Parents’ Weekend on Friday, Sept. 29 – Sunday, Oct. 1.

After years of preparations and planning, the Capers Hall ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Saturday, Sept. 9, to officially commemorate The Citadel’s newest academic building.

The Citadel community is welcoming Stephanie Fye to her new role as The Citadel’s new director of advising.

Sadie Gomez, a junior at The Citadel, spent nearly a month this past summer at Maxwell Air Force and Patrick Space Force bases learning and training within the military’s most modern branch.

Citadel alumna Taylor Diggs has received the Marcus L. Urann Fellowship by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Capers Hall, the Citadel’s new humanities and social sciences building, will be set to open next week, filled with numerous amenities for cadets, faculty and the community.

Saturday, August 12, was Matriculation Day for the Class of 2027, when more than 750 freshman cadet recruits moved into their barracks.
