Per Gov. McMaster, The Citadel and all higher education institutions in the state will discontinue in-person instruction through the end of the semester.

As The Citadel’s staff continues responding to the spread of COVID-19, we have made the decision to move all classes to online instruction beginning March 23, and we are preparing to extend the service until it is no longer needed.

Governor Henry McMaster today announced the closure of all state colleges through the end of March.

Cadets and students have departed for spring break and classes are set to resume March 23.
