The 20 teams will present their ideas during the semifinal round on Friday before 10 teams move on to the final pitch competition round on Saturday.

Stavridis led the NATO Alliance in global operations from 2009 to 2013 as Supreme Allied Commander with responsibility for Afghanistan, Libya, the Balkans, Syria, counter piracy, and cyber security.

Members of the winning team are looking forward to representing The Citadel in the first ever SoCon Entrepreneurship Challenge next week.

The new rankings mark the fourth consecutive year that The Citadel’s online business programs have been ranked as the best in South Carolina by U.S. News & World Report.

Beginning Monday, Jan. 31, The Citadel will no longer require masks to be worn on campus. Masks will still be required during classes taught by professors with medical accommodations.

Due to anticipated inclement weather, The Citadel will move all Friday afternoon classes which occur after 2 p.m. to a virtual format. Friday’s dress parade is cancelled.

Gold stars are awarded each semester to cadets and students who have earned a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher.

The dean’s list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours with a GPA of 3.20 or higher.
