The Citadel’s National Security Agency designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education is hosting a workshop to help engage the owners of high priority Department of Defense (DoD) critical infrastructure as well as municipality leaders, on the topic of key relationships between commercial critical infrastructure and DoD critical missions. The Jack Voltaic 2.5 Cyber Workshop will be held from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Thurs., May 21 in Grimsley and Thompson Halls on The Citadel campus.

Since 9/11, there has been a growing number of Black Americans making a difference in the national security sector. Citadel professor Dr. Fraser-Rahim is one of them.

Fraser-Rahim is an expert on violent extremism issues with areas of specialty on transnational terrorist movements, counter-terrorism, Islamic intellectual history, Islam in America and contemporary theology in the Muslim world and African affairs.
