Gold stars are awarded each semester to cadets and students who have earned a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher.

The dean’s list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours with a GPA of 3.20 or higher.

Retired Lt. Gen. Donald “Rosie” Rosenblum, U.S. Army, a member of The Citadel Class of 1951, passed away on Sept. 6, 2022.

The first day of classes is especially important to three Ukrainian cadet-recruits who arrived on campus as part of the Class of 2026.

The group of cadets tasked with instructing the incoming class returned to campus early in order to get the training that will make them effective leaders.

Members of The Citadel Class of 2026 — which will be one of the largest classes in the college’s history — will arrive on campus Saturday, Aug. 13.
