Wednesday marks the first day of classes at The Citadel, where safety measures are being taken social distancde on campus and reduce risk of transmission.

As The Citadel moves forward with Operation Fall Return 2020, an agile, conditions-based plan to return cadets and students to face-to-face instruction, college leadership is communicating regularly to keep all constituents informed.

This description of the plan related to academic operations is broken into two sections — Healthy Environments and Healthy Operations.

The Corps of Cadets achieved grades consistent with historic norms for spring semester, even after the emergency transition to online learning.

In all, 13 members of The Citadel faculty retired after the 2019-2020 academic year, but their contributions will continue to be felt on campus.
