As cadets returned to the classroom, ABC News 4 sat down with Gen. Frank McKenzie, USMC (Ret.), ’79, to discuss his vision as the new president of The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.
In the interview, McKenzie discussed his priorities, which include expanding academic offerings in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and computing, strengthening the college’s national recruiting efforts and continuing to distinguish a Citadel education through its enduring focus on leadership.
