Meet one of America’s newest military officers, 2nd Lt. Chad Humelbaugh, U.S. Air Force pilot in training. Humelbaugh is one of 163 cadets in his class at The Citadel who were commissioned as officers in U.S. military service upon graduating. About a third of each South Carolina Corps of Cadets class enters military service every year, taking their pledge of honor, duty and respect to their next level of leadership.
