Relatives and friends of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets will be welcomed to campus during The Citadel’s annual Parents’ Weekend on Friday, Oct. 7 – Sunday, Oct. 9.
Highlights of the weekend include a Ring Presentation Ceremony for The Citadel Class of 2023, the promotion of fourth-class cadets from recruits to privates and a Saturday dress parade. There will also be a diverse range of religious services on Sunday, Oct. 9.
Another main event of the weekend will be when The Citadel takes on Furman University at Johnson Hagood Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
