Getting ready for Parents’ Weekend 2024

Sept. 28 update: Kickoff for The Citadel vs. ETSU football game has been moved to 5 p.m. All other Parents’ Weekend events remain as scheduled.

The Citadel will welcome the family and friends of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets to campus during the college’s annual Parents’ Weekend celebrations on Friday, Sept. 27 – Sunday, Sept. 29.

Major events of the weekend include the Ring Presentation Ceremony for The Citadel Class of 2025, the promotion of fourth-class cadets from recruits to privates and a Saturday dress parade. There will also be a diverse range of religious services on Sunday, Sept. 29.

Another main event of the weekend will be when The Citadel takes on ETSU at Johnson Hagood Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.

Parking on campus is extremely limited. Carpooling or travelling to campus via taxi, Uber, Lyft or other service is highly recommended.
