The Citadel’s Regimental Band and Pipes recently represented the college at the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival in Estes Park, Colorado.

Thadeus O’Neill is a secondary education major with a focus in social studies. He has received placements on the Dean’s List, Commandant’s List and President’s List.

Elisa Texaj-Fuentes is a Chemistry major who has earned placements on the Dean’s List and received Gold Star awards.

Daniel DuBose is an Electrical Engineering major who has earned placements on the Dean’s List, Commandant’s List, President’s List and has received Gold Star awards.

This summer, The Citadel’s Department of Cyber and Computer Sciences welcomed teachers, cadets, students and service members to campus for several hands-on cyber camps.

The President’s List is one of the most distinguished cadet awards presented by The Citadel. It indicates excellence in academics and military duties.

Gold stars are awarded each semester to cadets and students who have earned a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher.

The dean’s list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours with a GPA of 3.20 or higher.

The Citadel’s annual Parents’ Weekend celebrations will take place on Friday, Sept. 19 – Sunday, Sept. 21.

The Class of 2029 reported to The Citadel on Saturday, Aug. 16, marking the start of their cadet journey.
