On Friday, March 1, The Citadel kicked off a weekend full of celebrations recognizing 25 Years of Female Cadet Graduates.

The Citadel will focus on improving and expanding advising – in all forms – in the coming years.

After Friday, March 22, the members of the Class of 2027 will no longer be called “knobs” and will immediately begin training and preparing to lead in their sophomore year.

Two Citadel cadets were honored on Feb. 16 with the General Douglas MacArthur Cadet of the Year Award and the distinguished Society of the Cincinnati Medal.

Deposits, which are usually due on May 1 – the National Decision Day deadline each year – will be due on June 1 this year.

Three Citadel cadets will be going to the Medical University of South Carolina, or MUSC, dental school in the fall.

The Citadel is excited to announce additional events celebrating 25 Years of Female Cadet Graduates.

The dean’s list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher, with

Gold stars are awarded to cadets and students who have earned a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher. Those cadets and veteran students will be recognized at the awards parade
