The Citadel leadership was recently made aware of a vile social media post published several months ago by someone who was, but is no longer, a cadet. The matter was investigated and that person is no longer enrolled at The Citadel.
There is no excuse for this violation of human decency and dignity. Racism in any form is not tolerated at this college where the core values of honor, duty, and respect will be upheld.
