Hosted by The Citadel Alumni Association, The Citadel is looking back on its past weekend, which saw one of the biggest events on campus — Homecoming 2024.

Cadets Michael and Robert Hart are twin brothers from the Class of 2025. Their family legacy is linked to their father, John “Jay” Hart Jr., a member of The Citadel’s Class of 1992. As his sons honor his memory and continue the tradition, his Citadel ring, engraved with ‘92, now holds even greater significance.

The Citadel has announced its dates for the biggest events for the upcoming academic year.

The Citadel Alumni Association is a private, self-sustaining, non-profit organization that supports, advances and promotes the ideals and goals of the college.

The Citadel is mourning the loss of Robert Anthony Daniel, ’49, former Board of Visitors member and President of The Citadel Alumni Association.

The postponed Homecoming recognized the milestone reunions for classes ending in ‘0 and ‘5 and, especially, members of the Class of 1970 who celebrated their 50th reunion.

Thomas received the ‘Order of the Palmetto” from South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster in 2019.

The Citadel is remembering one of its longest-living alumni, a member of the Class of 1938, who dedicated his life to his family and country.

Despite the inability to host a traditional event, Memorial Day 2020 would not be disregarded by the Association of the U.S. Army and the Citadel Alumni Association.
