Citadel cadet James Hart competed in the 2023 International Shooting Sports Federation Junior World Championships in South Korea this summer.

Sadie Gomez, a junior at The Citadel, spent nearly a month this past summer at Maxwell Air Force and Patrick Space Force bases learning and training within the military’s most modern branch.

Saturday, August 12, was Matriculation Day for the Class of 2027, when more than 750 freshman cadet recruits moved into their barracks.

During a meeting in June, The Citadel Board of Visitors unanimously voted to not raise in-state cadet tuition for the 2023-24 academic year.

Over 500 members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and approximately 350 students from The Citadel Graduate College accepted their degrees during the commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 6.
